Finger Painting

Yesterday was a day. I had a lot going on and not a lot of extra time. But I needed it yesterday. So I was downstairs trying to finish Lance family's Christmas gifts. It took me about 30 min and Rachel and Anna were so I thought playing in the play room upstairs. It got kinda quite but I thought they were just into a show on TV, but let say Anna was but Rachel was gone. I fist could not find her any ware all the doors were shut and she was gone. If you could only imagine we screaming for her and there was no answer. I was totally freaking out to say the least. I had check every were Anna kept saying you are scaring me. I calmed done and ran back into my bedroom and found Rachel yes in the bath tube playing in an entire bottle of my bubble bath man did she smell good, but I have no clue how to get all that soap out of her cloths any Ideas? So to say the least there was bubble every where and Rachel thought it was great. We love her!!

Christmas is Coming What
Wow I can't believe it is almost here. It was a phone call from Stacy that made it real to me that it's in two weeks and I have not even began to shop. Lots is going on and I guess I haven;t started shopping because Lance and I can't agree on any thing. So I need help I want to get the girls a Tramp and he is worried about the insurance dropping us if we get one. I don't want a swing set I think they are a waist of money and all I really care about is that the girls can play in the back yard. I need some help. Other than that things have been going well. I haven't been writing because I have had a wounded finger. yes I was cooking and took it out. ER and 5 stitches latter. Things are going to be incredibly Bessy the next 4 weeks. Laura (my sister) had here baby Nov 27 so we have her blessing Dec 30 my bro Matthew is getting married Jan 4 Lance and I are going on a cruise Jan 12-20 and Lance mom is coming also and to top it all off Christmas is in 2 weeks and I have nothing.

"Babbles"

So you all are saying what in the heck is "babbles". I was wondering my self. Rachel has started to talk and all you know when a 17 mo. old is trying to talk you spend all day figuring out what they are saying. Rachel's word that she has been saying for weeks that i could never under stand in "Babble". what through me off the most was she would say it and walk to the fridge or when ever I would come home from the store. Neither Lance or I could figure it out stupid mom thought she was saying bubbles but she has never seen bubble or even played with then yet. So the case is solved thanks to the food network and the show unwrapped. Monday Lance and were watching a show on Apples. Rachel was sitting on the couch with us and the word came out "Babbles" Lance and I looked at each other a said at the same time that is what she has been saying. Mystery is solved!! we must eat a lot of apples in our home. Now we are on to uh oh spaghetti oh. we love Rachel.

Trip to Southern Utah

Hello all,

It to has been some time for me to blog, but here I am. I wanted to let everyone know that Chris did a great job feeding Amy, Dave and I on our trip to Cedar City and St. George. He made lasagna, green beans, yogurt fruit parfait and brownies with vanilla pudding. It was great.

We then spent the night in St. George to later hike and visit with all the family and friends we have down there. What a nice get-away.

If any of you Allen's out there are reading this in time Anna's birthday is coming up. Make sure you call her.

First Week Of School!!

We made it. Anna is loving it. She asks me every day "mom am I going to school when its dark again" she doesn't quit get it. 6:30 Am is early to get up to a 4 year old. Monday was kinda sad the first thing she said to me is "we re's Rachel isn't she going with me? "but she made it through. Came home and for the first time in 2 years she took a nap I loved it. So here is moms way of thinking this would be great Anna would go to school at 7:00 am Rachel will sleep and I will get a lot done before Anna gets home. Gosh was I wrong. Rachel has been up with me every morning. she like here mom she doesn't want to miss anything. but yesterday she should have sayed in bed. Rachel has a thing for taking off her diaper. So I got here down form the table she rips off her diaper and brings it to me. I walked in the kitchen to throw it a way and I hear her say uh oh. I walked it the living room and sure enough she peed on the ground. I pick her up and took her to the sink to wash her off. I thought to my self she already peed she done so I went in to the laundry room to get stuff to clean up the mess and she says uh oh I ran in to the living room and ya you guess it poop on the ground. That was the icing on the cake for the day.

Rap up
It has been a while. I am going to be better at this. Its a new goal. Here's a rap on what's been going on. We went to Utah and lets just say it was an adventure. The girls did great. Minus 2 thing Rachel gets car sick! Puck. Thank goodness moms a good caught. Lance also will never drive through New Mexico again. The speed traps got him. ha ha It's about time. Some other things that have been going on are Anna started school, and Rachel is driving me crazy. I never knew how much Anna really helped me with Rachel. Lets just say I miss her.

Camping and Beach Fun

Wow the summer is going by fast, and the Allens have been bissy. Last I worte we were on our way to Colorado for the Jones Family Reunion. That was short sweet and to the point. We had delayed flights and we made it home in one piece. Thank goodnees for fruit snacks. I was home for only 96 hours and quickly went to girls camp for a week. Now that was adventure. Girls Camp in Texas is like nothing I have ever been to before. Let me paint the picture Airconditiond cabins all meals prepared all activity palnned and you just sit back and relax. so that is what I was told. Ya all of it was ture if Mac and Cheese fish sticks and lima beans are in your dinner plans. Sleeping 1950 cabins with bunkbeds just old. and if a craft tables are what you were looking for you would have been in heaven. Lets just say I would have much rather have been sleeping in a tent with all the bugs and humity in Texas. I did learn somthing form all of this I will not be volintering for girls camp agian. After that great experence I was home for 10 days and we had a trip to South Hampton New York to spend a week in a beach house. Now that was a blast. Lance and I have beach babys they could not have been happier. They were in heaven. The only bad thing that came out of this was Lance decided to be the bottom of the Ocean. He was body surfing and was qucikly taken out with a 10 foot wave so Lance would say and dislocated his right shoulder. We also found out the Rachel loves to eat sand and Anna loves to be barried alive. Quickly after returning home Lance left to go to Jackson Mississippi for work for a week. There is nothing like being home with 2 kid for a week without daddy. Lance is home now for a few days but will be going back to Jackson soon. In the mean time I will be getting ready to drive up to Utah for a visit with all the family there. We are excited to go and see everyone. Our plan is to leave on Aug 3 and return of Aug 13 I will garenty there will be meny storys to tell.

Anna soup recipe
Wow!! It’s good. So as some know Anna love her suitcase. She loves to pack things in it and go to the temple. So she says. Well I just went to unpack what is in there and found what Anna called soup. As you all know Texas is humid and things general go moldy and rancid very quickly. Lets just say when I asked Anna what she had done she said mom I was making soup. She had put lots of clothing in her suitcase and dumped some water in it and started to make soup. Zipped it up and let mom to find the yummy surprise in side only about $50 dollars was lost. Gosh cloths are cheep!! I love being a Mom.

Anna's First Solo Dive

Anna has finaly decided that she is ready to jump in the pool by herself, and here is a video of one of her very first solo dives. She absolutly loves to swim in her grandma's backyard pool in.

What a day it only 11:00 am and Thing are going down hill fast. Some of you know that we are going to Colorado this weekend. I have only been home for 4 days form girls camp Rachel just wants to be held by me of course. I am trying to get packed and do laundry it's not going very well. I going to be a short weekend and we are looking forward to spend time with the Jones' for the first time since grandpa has past away. I can't belive it has been a year here in Texas we love and hopefully this will keep us more intouch with family and what is going at the Allen's home.
